FIELD: production of casting blocks by continuous casting with use of resource-saving methods. SUBSTANCE: mold consists of four water-cooled working walls arranged in pairs. The first pair of working walls is made with upper area of working surface extended at an angle to vertical and vertical lower area of working surface. The second pair of working walls is made to execute reciprocation. The first pair of working walls executes rotary motion in process of operation and is provided with removable cover plate whose internal side has symmetrical cylindrical grooves. End faces of internal surface of cover plates have projections and cover plate cylindrical grooves have additional cutouts over their entire length. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
