FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: self-tapping chipless screw with a tail equipped with sections, thread, at one end of which there is a sharpened end, and on its other opposite end there is a screw head, and with a sharpened conical section, arranged starting from the sharpened end towards the screw head, and with one cylindrical section arranged between the sharpened conical section and the screw head. The sharpened end of the screw has the diameter (Dt) within the limits between 0.25-0.35 mm, the sharpened conical section adjacent to the screw spike relative to the bottom of the thread groove between the turns forms a sharp angle α within the limits between 20°-30°, and the initial point of the thread opposite relative to the screw head is distanced from the spike by the distance (Lt) from 0 to 0.3 mm.
EFFECT: penetration of a screw via a material without formation of chips.
