FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device sealed bath, loader, metal and slag taps, gas duct and plasma torch. Sealed bath is composed of elongated crucible closed by cover to operate at overpressure. Loader serves for continuous feed of wastes into said crucible at overpressure. Plasma torch consists of encased sealed cathode and anode fitted therein to fire and quench arc. Said torch allows producing steam from water dispensed at pressure into case and cathode. Generated plasma is fed via nozzle into crucible.
EFFECT: higher efficiency simplified design.
