FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: brown coal with natural humidity is first subject to coarse crushing, and then, it is crushed at least in one grinding device, and after that, crushed coal is supplied for drying; at that, immediately after the grinding device, there shall be arranged means for sorting of foreign matters from material flow, and thus, the material flow leaving the grinding device shall be subject to additional screening; at that, the size of the screen mesh is chosen so that brown coal screenings are 100% if possible. Brown coal is crushed to the average grain size equal to 0-2 mm. After brown coal is crushed, it is subject to drying in the drier with a fluidised bed. Additional screening is performed using a screening device with screen mesh sizes equal to at least 4×6 mm, and preferably equal to approximately 6×10 mm to approximately 10×15 mm.

EFFECT: invention allows improving rejection of foreign matters immediately after coarse crushing.
