FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: onboard decametric antenna of a mobile object has a slit cut into its metal surface and an intermediate exciter placed in the metal coated space under the cover of the mobile object, the intermediate exciter being connected an adjustment and matching unit, the input of which is connected to the output of an onboard radio station, characterised by that the intermediate exciter is in form of a conductor arched in the vertical plane, placed along the longitudinal axis of symmetry of the mobile object and connected by one end to the adjustment and matching unit, and by the other end to a lumped reactive load unit; the middle part of the cover surface of the mobile object is dielectric, and the edges of the metal parts of the cover surface adjacent to its dielectric part are connected to shielding elements placed over the arched conductor, wherein between the adjacent ends of the shielding elements, at the centre of the cover surface, there is a dielectric gap A.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the onboard decametric antenna owing to more efficient participation in radiation of the metal housing of the mobile object.
