METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF ZEOLITE BASED FODDER ADDITIVE AND LINE FOR METHOD IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A23K1/00

Abstract RU 2484640 C1

FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and may be used in feed mill industry. The initial components for fodder additive production, according to the method, are represented by 0.1 M of cupric and methionine sulphate solutions taken at a volume ratio of 1:4, in consequence of the solutions chemical interaction a suspension of a chelate compound of cupric methionate (with moisture weight fraction equal to 95…98%) is produced. The produced suspension is preliminarily heated up to 25…28°C and then dried till production of a powdery form of the chelate compound of cupric methionate with particles diameter equal to 0.2…0.4 mm, moisture content equal to 3…4% and a temperature equal to 32…35°C. At the same time one mixes zeolite (with particle coarseness ensuring the percentage of residue on Sieves Nos 1, 2, equal to no more than 5%, moisture content no higher than 10%) with a fodder fat (taken in an amount of 4.5…5.5% of the fodder additive weight and preliminarily heated up to 55…60°C) and with "Endox" stabilised antioxidant in an amount of 10 mg/kg of fat. The produced preliminary mixture is mixed with powdery cupric chelate compound at a ratio of 85:15 and discharged as a ready fodder additive. The method implementation line includes a cupric methionate dry powder production area, a preliminary mixture preparation area, the ready fodder additive preparation area as well as a refrigerating steam-compressor installation including a compressor, a double-circuit condenser with two parallel connected sections, a temperature-controlled valve, an evaporator operating in a closed thermodynamic cycle.

EFFECT: invention usage will allow to manufacture a high quality product.
