FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to esthetic surgery and otorhinolaryngology, and can be applied in surgical correction of deformations of auricles. A number of incisions in form of "plate" pattern with 0.5 cm step, 1.0 cm long are applied on detached posterior surface of auricle on 1/3-1/2 cartilage thickness along entire future helix by radio-frequency coagulator with minimal power. The last two incisions must coincide with projection of lateral and medial helix legs. Ear is folded with fingers in such a way that fold of antihelix is formed and ear takes correct position. After that, a series of frequent incisions of ear cartilage is made on the crest of said fold from the side of anterior ear surface along antihelix direction by means of injection needle 24 G. After that, antihelix is finally formed and strengthened with 3-4 "П"-shaped sutures from lavsan.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to form antihelix of natural shape, minimise trauma of auricle cartilage, reduce risk of possible complications, preserve esthetic appearance of patient's auricle.
