FIELD: medicine, esthetic surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should perform anesthesia of posterior surface of concha auriculae and area of mastoid process, fulfill cutaneous incision at posterior surface of concha auriculae along the edge of its helix, exfoliate skin at posterior surface of concha auriculae, isolate cartilage to loosen parotid muscle, dissect the latter, perform the application of concho-mastoid suture by capturing the periosteum of mastoid process and cartilage of concha auriculae, suture the cartilage for its total depth, moreover, the ligature should pass under the skin of anterior surface of concha auiricular, then one should form counter-helix, perform hemostasis, suture in cutaneous wound with a blanket uninterrupted suture with catgut. In peculiar case, at forming counter-helix one should at first apply the suture in area of counter-helix' pedicles, and only then - in its upper part. In peculiar case, if cartilage has got considerable elasticity one should additionally apply 1-2 sutures in the middle part of counter-helix mentioned.
EFFECT: decreased number of post-operational complications and relapses.
