FIELD: sport.
SUBSTANCE: claimed decision relates to the field of exercise equipment, in particular, to the abdominal trainer. The abdominal trainer has a support frame and a backrest frame mounted on a swivel coupling for movement between the horizontal and vertical position, and a seat frame with the support element, rotating on the support frame. The support hub with a low coefficient of friction, which is between the support frame and the seat frame, supports the weight of the user. The support hub is at the site of about 30-42% from the rear end of the support element to its front end, so the coccyx of the user is aligned vertically to the support hub. The support elements on each side of the support frame have a pair of sliding elements connected to the support frame or the seat frame, each with a U-shaped armrest lying in a plane at an acute angle of about 30-80 degrees to the horizontal. A pair of single or double pulleys is mounted near the rear end of the support frame and engaged by the springs closed with the clutch, to move the backrest frame into a vertical position.
EFFECT: exclusion of negative pressure exerted by the trainer on the back during training.
