FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Method comprises making moulds, their calcination, calculation of moulding blend, producing melt in induction furnace, liquid metal deoxidation, slag removal from melt surface in furnace, blowing mould cavities by gas, teeming fused metal in moulds, melt crystallisation in mould, mould knock-out, removal of gates and cleaning of castings. After slag removal, melt surface is tightly closed by steel cover lined by flexible heatproof plate. Cover body houses hollow distribution ring with pipes to force inert gas in jets to said melt via discharge tip. Mould is blown by inert gas before filling.
EFFECT: ruled out melt oxidation and crystallisation in mould.
