SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing one or more types of organic compounds relating to paraffins, olefins, dienes, ethers, ketones and aldehydes, which involves providing contact between two or more types of alcohols with a hydroxyapatite, a method of producing an alcohol with a branched chain, which involves providing contact between methanol and an alcohol having 3 or more carbon atoms and a hydroxyapatite, a method for synthesis of one or more types of organic compounds relating to paraffins, olefins, dienes, alcohols, ethers, ketones and aldehydes, which involves providing contact between one type of alcohol, having 3 or more carbon atoms, and a hydroxyapatite, as well as a method for synthesis of an alcohol, having 3 or a larger odd number of carbon atoms, which involves providing contact between two or more types of alcohols and a hydroxyapatite, wherein at least one type of alcohol is ethanol and at least another type of alcohol is an alcohol having an odd number of carbon atoms. In the disclosed methods, the hydroxyapatite is a support for metallic catalysts or metallic-ion catalysts which act on alcohol. The present invention also relates to a method for synthesis of one or more types of organic compounds relating to paraffins, olefins, dienes, alcohols, ethers, ketones and aldehydes, in which contact is provided between two or more types of alcohols and a hydrotalcite.
