FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine fuel injector, mainly, injector for "common rail" system incorporates valve element for control over injection. Said element is arranged to displace, subject to fuel pressure in control chamber, between closed position and open position wherein it allows fuel flow into combustion chamber. Besides, it comprises control valve for controlling pressure in control chamber which incorporates valve element driven relative to its seat and fitted into its guide, and part covering its outer side surface. Guide part first locating surface abuts injector part second locating surface.
EFFECT: partially automated assembly, perfected design that allowed using tapered valve seat.
