FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: fuel atomiser, primarily, atomiser for "common rail" system has injection control valve element arranged to displace between open and closed positions and controlled control valve displaced by electromagnetic drive between open and closed position and valve element with seal line, approximately pressure-equalised in closed position, said seal line in control valve element closed position interacts with the seat of said valve element to tightly fit in said seat. Besides said seal line in control valve element open position is raised from said seat to allow fuel to flow to fuel atomiser from its high-pressure zone to lower-pressure zone. Control valve working element has thrust part extending radially behind said seal line towards high-pressure zone and arranged and/or located so that no resultant axial forces developed by pressure at said seal line with closed control valve. Control valve working element is composed of sleeve fitted on composite push rod separated from atomiser part. Control valve seat is fitted at atomiser part. Thrust part is located at sleeve inner perimeter axially between push rod and valve seat.
EFFECT: lower wear of control valve seal.
