FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: sliding bearing includes a housing and at least one sliding element installed on the housing, at least the sliding surfaces of which have nanostructured antifriction metal ceramic matrix coating made from powder of silicon carbide with fractions of: nanorange - 50 to 100 nm, submicron level - 0.5 to 1.0 mcm and micron level - 5 to 30 mcm, with differential clad layer applied onto each crystallite of silicon carbide, which includes nickel with molybdenum disulphide at the following component ratio: nickel - 80-90 wt %, molybdenum disulphide - 10-20 wt %, at the following component ratio, vol. %: fraction of nanorange - 45-60; fraction of submicron level - 10-20; fraction of micron level - 20-30; nickel layer with molybdenum disulphide is the rest to 100.
EFFECT: complex improvement of the bearing operating characteristics due to maximum reduction of friction coefficient, improvement of wear resistance, hardness, thermal stability, heat resistance, at simultaneous increase in ductility and strength of antifriction metal ceramic matrix layer due to its nanostructuring and differential cladding.
