FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: matrix powder of metals or their alloys and reinforcing nanopowder with grains size from 1 nm to 100 nm are mixed, to the obtained mixture additionally fine-grained powder of aluminium oxide or silicon oxide, or titanium oxide with grain size 20-40 mcm in amount of 5-10 wt % is added. Powder mixture is machined in high energy grinder for 30 minutes at rotation speed 1400-2000 rpm. As the reinforcing nanopowder the carbides, nitrides and carbonitrides are used in amount of 50 wt %. As the matrix powder the powders of metals or their alloys with maximum hardness 235 HV and grains size determined according to set ratio are used.

EFFECT: increased hardness and reduced porosity of coatings received using the reinforced powder material.
