FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: control device of stepless transmission controls transmission ratio on the basis of radius of belt (44) movement on pulley (42, 43), thus adjusting primary oil pressure and secondary oil pressure. It includes a control device with belt slippage to perform such control so that secondary oil pressure can be oscillated, state of belt slippage can be evaluated by controlling phase difference between an oscillatory component included in the acting secondary oil pressure and an oscillatory component included in the acting transmission ratio. And then to reduce the acting secondary oil pressure to maintain the specified state of belt slippage based on evaluation, and oscillation setting device for setting of oscillation amplitude of secondary hydraulic pressure at low level when transmission ratio is a high transmission ratio, in comparison to the fact when transmission ratio is a low transmission ratio, in case of oscillation of secondary hydraulic pressure at control with belt slippage.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing power consumption of the drive by means of reduction of the belt friction and protecting the belt against strong slippage.
