FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises primary and secondary pulleys, belt running thereabout, belt slippage control means, vehicle acceleration limiter and input torque variation limiter. Proposed method comprises stages whereat hydraulic pressure variation is set when input torque variation rate is smaller than predefined magnitude, oscillation component is derived from basic component of actual hydraulic pressure to allow control over belt slippage, input torque variation rate is limited to magnitude smaller than predefined value and control over belt slippage is controlled in making decision about vehicle acceleration limitation.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption.
