FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spraying of fluids equipment and can be used in fire fighting, agriculture, chemical industry and heat power engineering. In a centrifugal vortex nozzle containing a housing, an union nut, an insert with tapering downstream tangential channels, twisting chamber, a nozzle and a disc adjacent to the insert end face from the tangential channels, at that, the insert and the disk are made of cermet, the tangential channels input edges are rounded, in the union nut end face axially symmetric to the housing a central hole is made consisting of a cylindrical part and a conical part, and the insert has at least three tangential channels located in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the housing, as well as a twisting chamber connected to tangential channels, coaxial to the housing, a throttle opening located at the bottom of the insert, and a disc adjacent to the insert end face from the tangential channels side perpendicular to the axis of the housing, and to the union nut end surface axially symmetric to the housing a plate atomizer is mounted consisting of the housing and parallel to each other at least two plates perpendicular axes, one of which, the first plate, has a central hole, and the second plate is made solid and fastened to the first one by means of at least three fastening elements including a screw and spacer calibrated washers to be installed between the plates, and also between the union nut end face and the first plate, at that, the second, solid plate of the plate atomizer is not made flat, but convex or concave, wherein the vertex of the convex surface can be directed both towards and away from the union nut end face, and the plate atomizer second plate is made perforated at a portion delimited by spacer calibrated washers to be installed between the plates of the plate atomizer.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the efficiency of liquid atomizing due to reduced hydraulic resistance of the atomizer at keeping the flow characteristics, provision for homogeneous mixing with the inflow medium.
