SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to the field of sports and can be used in training the athletes for sporting events for achieving the record indices. The claimed method lies in reducing the coefficient of friction of sliding of the working surface of the ski on snow regardless of the use of different versions of greases for different types of sliding. This problem is solved on the basis of binomial friction law by excluding the effect of the attractive forces of generated heteropolar charges of friction dissimilar bodies (skis on snow) by inducing (guiding) from a separate power supply to the sliding surface of the ski of unipolar electrostatic charge with snow. As a result, the direction of the electrostatic field opposite to the force of gravity is created due to the similar charges formed on the surface of the ski and snow.

EFFECT: as a result of formed unipolar charges the attraction (adhesion) of snow to the ski plane is excluded, regardless of the temperature of friction and environment, and the snow viscosity.
