FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: device for ski wax testing includes supporting base, body, electric motor, engine control electronics, vertical linear displacement unit, driving shaft, driving shaft angular velocity monitoring electronics, ski model, ski model fixture differing in the fact that ski model is radially shifted from driving shaft axis. Ski model is installed on radial displacement unit which is fixed on beam mounted on driving shaft with possibility of simultaneous rotation with driving shaft. The device contains return shaft located inside driving shaft and coaxially with it, and spring one end of which is connected with driving shaft and the second end - with return shaft. Additionally, on the external end of return shaft a gear wheel is installed, and on the linear radial displacement unit a gear rack is installed where the gear rack is interacting with gear wheel.

EFFECT: possibility to test sliding surfaces at higher speeds of sliding over sow surface.
