FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: hinge for vehicle doors, in particular, for rear doors of vans, with rotation of door folds around substantially vertical axes, comprising the first element (1), made as capable of attachment to the door fold, the second element (3), made as capable of attachment to the fixed part of the vehicle, the central part (5), rotated at one end to the specified first element and at the opposite end to the specified second element, a lever (8), rotated at one end to the specified first element and at the opposite end to the specified second element. Besides, axes of lever rotation to each of the specified elements do not match the axes of rotation of the specified central part. The lever has profiles (12,12') suitable for interaction with tracking elements (13), attached to the central part pressed by springs (16, 16', 16"), in order to hold the door fold in the specified positions, until the force of springs has not been overcome by action at the door fold.
EFFECT: increased operational reliability.
