OIL DEPOSIT DEVELOPMENT METHOD Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC E21B43/16 

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves pumping of working agent through injection wells and recovery of products through multi-hole production wells. In a multi-hole production well the first bore is perforated from the stratum with oil saturation within range of 65-75% into productive stratum with oil saturation within range of 75-90% to the area of productive stratum having thickness of about 1.5-2.0 m which is not impacted by injection wells; when reserves in this area are recovered the first bore is liquidated and the second bore is perforated with turn of 150-200 degrees in relation to the first bore ending it in the form of a horizontal section from the above stratum with oil saturation within range of 45-55% to the same productive stratum with oil saturation within range of 75-90% to the area of productive stratum having thickness of about 5-15 m which is impacted by injection wells and the deposit section is developed by water flooding till recovery of reserves.

EFFECT: increase of deposit production rate due to more complete strata development, involvement into development of productive strata not developed earlier.
