FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: housing of submunition of cluster munitions comprises the cylindrical and the bottom parts, localisers of crushing of the housing into fragments, made in the form of annular grooves on the outer surface of the housing. The wall of the housing is formed of at least two shells, the continuous inner and the outer component, consisting of several parts isolated from each other. The parts of the outer shell are formed by separate insulated rings mounted on the inner shell so that the distance between their side surfaces is approximately equal to or less than the thickness of the inner wall at the place of their placement. The rings of the outer shell are formed as rings of several cylindrical coils mounted coaxially one inside the other. The rings of the coils interact with each other.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of fragment efficiency of the munitions.
