FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dairy industry equipment, namely to devices for curd milling and defrosting. The device contains feed and discharge units, a vacuum chamber, a main roll with blades for milling and defrosting curd blocks, the roll installed inside the body over the chamber. The roller body is equipped with a blade rigidly fixed. The vacuum chamber is equipped with a hollow shaft and hollow two-blade stirrers installed so that to enable reversive rotation and communicating with the shaft. The shaft and the stirrers are linked by a collector connected to a steam vacuum system. Ins6alled inside the body under the main roller is an additional roller with blades with a stationary blades fixed on the body opposite the additional roller lower part. Positioned between the main and the additional rollers is a reflector plate. The rollers body is equipped with a feed device for supply of non-standard curd blocks and pieces onto the additional roller.

EFFECT: invention usage will allow to increase efficiency of curd blocks milling and defrosting processes, decrease product losses and ensure non-standard curd blocks and pieces milling.
