FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for inspecting waggons has a multi-section bar on one end of which a television camera is mounted, and on the middle part there is a housing with a microprocessor with a memory unit, a control unit, a display and a power supply. The apparatus if fitted with an additional television camera which is mounted at the opposite end of the multi-section bar, a switch and a transmit-receive module mounted in the housing. Outputs of the television cameras are connected through switches to the display and the input of the microprocessor, which is connected to the control unit; the input/output of the microprocessor is connected to the output/input of the transmit-receive module, and the auxiliary output of the microprocessor is connected to the control input of the switch.
EFFECT: high efficiency and easier inspection of top and bottom parts of a waggon.
