FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of technical control in railway transport for inspecting trains and cars. System contains, above the rail track, a U-shaped supporting structure, including two supports and a bolt, television cameras, an electronic computer, a monitor, scanning laser range finders, block forming the image of the contour of the car, the comparison unit, the storage unit of information about the maximum railway gauge, the storage unit information about the shape of the side surfaces and roofs of the cars, a block for building a cargo distribution relief over the gondola car area, a block for calculating the volume of the load, a block for calculating the weight of the load, controllers for identifying the gaps between the cars and a digital logic element.
EFFECT: expansion of the functionality of the system is achieved.
