FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: glass workpiece is placed in furnace on heated die. Said workpiece is heated to glass forming temperature and bent by creating vacuum in said die for it to be, then, annealed. In annealing, as furnace temperature drops, overpressure of dried air heated to at least 120°C is created in said die every 50°C.
EFFECT: better geometrical and optical properties of bent glass.
