FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to application of a food composition for prevention or delay of dementia onset with a person with prodromal dementia patient characteristics. The composition contains the following components: one or several ω-3 fatty acids chosen from DHA, DPA and EPA, uridine or its equivalent chosen from the group consisting of uridine, deoxyuridine, phosphates of uridine, uracil and acylated derivatives of uridine, and a methyl donor.
EFFECT: production of a food composition for prevention or delay of dementia onset with a person with prodromal dementia patient characteristics.
