SUBSTANCE: invention is application of the composition to obtain a product for spinal cord injury treatment, wherein the said composition comprises one or more of at least one uridine or its equivalent selected from the group consisting of the following: uridine, i.e. ribosyl uracyl, deoxyuridine, uridine hosphates selected from UMP, dUMP, UDP or UTP, or uracil nucleobase, a lipid fraction comprising at least one of docosahexaenoic acid (22:6; DHA), eicosapentaenoic acid (20:5; EPA) and docosapentaenoic acid (22: 5; DPA) or esters thereof, wherein the lipid fraction comprises less than 2 wt % α of linolenic acid (ALA), based on the weight of all fatty acids, and choline or salts or esters thereof, wherein the said composition further comprises at least one B complex vitamin, selected from vitamin B6, B12 and B9 or their equvalents.

EFFECT: significantly lower level of macrophages involvement in the inflammatory process, significant increase in neurons survival after injury, remarkable improvement in neurological performance.
