METHOD OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF LARYNX CANCER Russian patent published in 2013 - IPC A61B17/24 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to surgery of larynx and oncology, and can be applied in reconstructive treatment of larynx cancer. Method consists in prefabrication of autotransplant with application of high-permeability construction from nitinol-based alloy based. At the stage of prefabrication frame from surface-microporous wire from superelastic titanium nickelide is made on supposed three-dimensional contour of thyroid cartilage. Fabric from super elastic titanium nickelide is sewn on frame. Obtained construction is brought into flat condition by unbending and fixed by piercing fabric by rods from solid titanium nickelide in "wicker fence" way. Frame can be provided with ribs, made from identical wire. Frame construction is implanted into rectus, covering with thin muscular fascicle, and one-piece plate (foil) from titanium nickelide above it. After 3-4 weeks sampling of autotransplant is performed with preservation of lower epigastric vessels passing in it, piercing it rods are extracted and restoration of initial form of frame is controlled. In the course of larynx tumour ablation within the limits of healthy tissues recipient vessels are prepared, vascular anastomosis with vessels of autotransplant are applied and autotransplant is sutured to defect edges layer-by-layer.

EFFECT: application of the claimed invention makes it possible to extend area of larynx resection with adequate reproduction of layer-by-layer structure and frame function of reconstructed fragments, which have complicated spatial configuration.
