FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: airfield power-saving device comprises a wind-driven plant with a windwheel, a pedestal on a foundation, a unit developing a jet flow of gases, a gas stripper, a reducer, a hydraulic pump, a water tower, a reservoir and a hydraulic power plant. The wind-driven plant with the windwheel is equipped with a socket and is installed inside the gas stripper. The front wall of the gas stripper is profiled in the form of a funnel. The funnel has a narrowing towards the windwheel for concentration of the jet flow of gases sent to the windwheel. The rear wall of the gas stripper is made as inclined to discharge the jet flow of gases upwards. The windwheel is connected with the reducer that drives the hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump is connected with the help of pipelines to the water tower and the reservoir. The water tower is connected with the hydraulic power plant.
EFFECT: conversion of energy of a jet flow of gases from unit engines in order to produce electric energy.
