FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical-pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry and represents method of increasing and/or modulating activity of one or several cooling substances, which are included into composition for personal hygiene, intended for application on skin, hair, in oral cavity and on other mucous surfaces, and in composition of odorants or fragrances, which include stage, at which said compositions for personal hygiene, odorants or fragrances with source of calcium ions and/or transport agent of calcium, selected from phytate; organic mono-, di-, or trisubstituted phosphate ester; polycarboxylate; their salts of alkali metals, alkali-earth metals or ammonium, and their mixtures, in quantity, which constitutes at least 0.1% of composition weight, with compositions ensuring immediate appearance of pleasant fresh cooling sensation, which lasts more than 15 minutes, and weight ratio of calcium to cooling substance constitutes at least approximately 0.5 to 1.
EFFECT: increased activity of cooling substance.
