SUBSTANCE: industrial fabric with a porous structure comprises a bearing structure made of a polymer material, the surface of which is treated with a plasticiser in a sufficient extent for reduction of vitrification temperature of the specified polymer material, so that usage of heat and/or pressure causes flattening and compaction of the fibre. At the same time the plasticiser is washed from the specified industrial fabric after flattening and sealing of the fibre.
EFFECT: improved smoothness, wear resistance, moisture susceptibility of industrial fabric, fabric has permeable surface and may be used as a press tape or a conveying tape.
