FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: structure of a marine installation comprises a body adapted for placement at least partially around the primary structure of the marine installation, at least one ledge installed around the outer surface of the body and having the first end designed for ice breaking. The support system placed on the body and adapted for insulation of the body from the primary structure so that the body may absorb at least some vibrations caused by icing.
EFFECT: provision of protection against vibrations caused by icing, reduced material intensity, reduced wave load at a protective structure.
