FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: gas metre housing is equipped with a jet active oscillator and the first piezoconverter associated with it, the outlet of which is connected to a signal processing channel consisting of series connected amplifier, comparator and calculating device equipped with an LCD display. On outer surface of the metre housing there installed is the second piezoconverter connected to the second signal processing channel consisting of in-series connected second amplifier and second comparator, the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of the calculating device performing programme evaluation of input signals and calculation of their mutual correlation.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of the metre readings.
