FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drinking water treatment by electrolysis, particularly, to electrochemical devices to this end. Proposed device comprises water electrochemical treatment unit and detachable filter. Said water electrochemical treatment unit comprises metal case for water treatment accommodating adapted of aluminium alloy arranged there inside to make clearance between case inner surface and adapter outer surface. Metal case makes a cathode while said adapter makes an anode to be connected to appropriate poles of power supply. Water discharge device is arranged at case bottom and communicated with plug-in joint outlet located nearby said case, approximately, level with its top edge. Aforesaid filter is to be coupled with water electrochemical unit case and comprises casing to house filtration element, water feed device and pure water drain device. Said water feed device includes plug-in joint inlet to be connected to plug-in joint outlet. Note here that the latter comprises valve.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
