FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical marking of the gun barrel inner surface. Proposed device comprises cylindrical casing of dielectric material to house cathode-tool equipped with electrolyte mixing cylindrical chamber with radial bores made in circle thereof. Casing and cathode-tool assembled with barrel blank make a circular electrolyte feed manifold. Cathode-tool is equipped with replaceable section electrodes. Every said electrode consists of conducting part, a ring with radial-displacement needle electrodes and nonconducting part, a replaceable dielectric insert with axial channels communicating said circular manifold with processing zone and radial holes communicated with the latter and made in needle electrode locations.
EFFECT: higher precision and repeatability of recess-type identification marking.
