FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the method for production of dihydrate of ferrous (II) hydroascorbinatoriboflavin Fe(C6H7O6)(C17H19O6N4)·2H2O, which may be used as a dietary supplement that improves growth and development of animals. The method is carried out by mixing of an aqueous suspension of ferrous (II) riboflavinate and ferrous hydroascorbinate taken at equimolar ratios at the temperature 70-80°C.
EFFECT: higher yield of a product with reduction of time for method performance.
