FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relate to a method of producing water-soluble aliphatic polyamino acids which can be used in producing steel and cast iron corrosion inhibitors, as ampholytic surfactants and in production of structural materials as part of mould separating additives when forming wood chipboard and fibreboard. The method involves reaction of polyallylamine with aliphatic chlorinated acids of formula Cl(CH2)nCOOH, where n=1-4 with molar ratio of components of 1:1-1.73, respectively, in aqueous solution at temperature of 30-35°C.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain polyamino acid with high output.
