FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: dry coke quenching method involves coke loading to a coke quenching chamber, coke cooling in the coke quenching chamber using a cooling agent that is circulated in a cooling agent circulation system containing a heat recovery steam generator, a cooling agent cleaning device, and ID-fan and a device for removal of excess volume of the cooling agent; removal of excess volume of the cooling agent from the cooling agent circulation system through the device for removal of excess volume of the cooling agent, supply of coke from the coke quenching chamber to a batchwise coke unloading device containing in-series connected crossover chambers, coke unloading from the batchwise coke unloading device to a vehicle and additional removal of the cooling agent from the crossover chamber, to which coke is supplied from the coke quenching chamber, to the cooling agent circulation system, upstream of the ID-fan in the flow direction of the cooling agent in the cooling agent circulation system.
EFFECT: reduction of the amount of cooling agent emissions; increase in coke dedusting; improvement of coke heat utilisationa and high operating efficiency of the batchwise coke unloading device.
