FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: furnace includes electrodes with an electrode holder, which are connected to a furnace transformer, and a water-cooled crystalliser installed on a seeding agent tray; it includes coaxially located internal and external electrodes with insulating rings between them; insulating rings are fixed on the internal electrode and have holes for passage of liquid flux.

EFFECT: invention allows creating an electroslag furnace of different functional purpose; one electroslag furnace with coaxial electrodes can replace furnaces operating as per monofilar and bifilar schemes.
