FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: furnace comprises a vertical prismatic combustion chamber 1 with the vertical plane of symmetry, a window 2 of combustion products discharge, a cold funnel 3 and adjacent front 4 and rear 5 walls, parallel to the vertical plane f symmetry, and also parallel side walls 6 and 7, multifunctional burners 8 and 9 installed on them into two horizontal rows and comprising vertical slot dust 10, 11 and air 12, 13 nozzles with their own vertical planes of symmetry and axisymmetric gas nozzles 14, 15, arranged in vertical rows, besides, in the upper horizontal row there are four burners 8 installed, two on each side wall 6, 7, vertical planes of symmetry of all nozzles 10, 12, 14 in the burners 8 of the upper row are directed along the tangent to circumferences in the centre of the furnace chamber, in the lower horizontal row there are two burners 9, one on each side wall 6, 7. Vertical planes of symmetry of dust nozzles 11 of burners 9 of the lower horizontal row are matched with the vertical plane of symmetry of the combustion chamber, the air nozzle 13 of one of the burners 9 is displaced towards the front wall 4, and its gas nozzles 15 are installed at the side of the rear wall 5, the air nozzle 13 of the other burner 9 is displaced towards the rear wall 5, and its gas nozzles 15 are installed at the side of the front wall 4.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce underburning of dust and coal fuel and concentration of nitrogen oxides in combustion products.
