FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: heat-insulated housing (1) is made in form of a vertically mounted pipe with a valve in its outlet section. In the bottom part of the housing there is an electrical heater (2) which is connected to an autotransformer (3) and a wattmeter (4). An air humidifier (5) is placed in the middle part of the housing. Flow mixers (9), (10) are placed over the electrical heater and over the humidifier. Thermocouples are placed in the bottom and top parts of the housing over the flow mixers. Flow mixer (9) or (10) is formed by two discs placed one above the other and cut into spiral strips which can be unfolded into a spiral in opposite directions as temperature rises. The discs are made from material with shape memory - titanium nickelide, and are rigidly attached to the walls of the housing.

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring air stream temperature and designing an efficient laboratory apparatus for thermodynamics for studying air heating and humidification processes.
