FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: cutting plate comprises body with fastener opening and seat for cutting element with lower bearing surface. Said body is confined by top surface and bottom bearing surface located in one plane with bottom bearing surface of cutting element. Cutout is made in said body to connect cutting element seat with aforesaid opening. Body seat and cutting element fastening part are shaped to wedge in cross-section parallel to bottom bearing surface. Wedge vertex is directed from cutting element fastening part. Cutting element has thrust sections interacting with body bearing surfaces. Recess to make thrust section is made at cutting element bottom bearing surface. One of said bearing sections is located under cutting section on vertex side while another is located on fastening section end, opposite cutting part. Method of assembly comprises placing the body and cutting element on one bearing surface for body to be clamped thereat. Then cutting element is pressed in its seat unless its bearing surfaces thrust against body thrust surfaces.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
