FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry. Fuel 1 is fed into a gas generator 2 and, using compressed, oxygen-rich air 3 and steam 5, is converted to synthesis gas loaded with slag droplets and alkali. The gas generator 2 can be equipped with a slag outlet device. Synthesis gas is fed into a cyclone 6, where it is freed from slag droplets and alkalis. The slag 7 is removed in liquid form. The synthesis gas 8 freed from slag is fed into a reservoir 9 with filling 10 made from gas-absorbent ceramic material. The synthesis gas is freed from alkali vapour. The purified hot gas 11 is fed into a gas turbine 12 which is driven by hot gas and said purified hot gas expands. The expanded and therefore cooled synthesis gas 13 is removed. The shaft of the gas turbine 12 is connected to a compressor 14 and a generator 15. The compressor is used to compress the oxygen-rich air. The latter is fed into the gas generator 2.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain pure synthesis gas without pre-cooling.
