FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: synthesis gas is obtained by gasification of solid carbon-bearing fuel. Colder gas or vaporised liquid and sorbent are added to dusty crude gas. The average temperature of the reacting crude gas ranges from 600 to 1000°C. The apparatus for realising the method includes a heat-resistant reaction apparatus 4 for gasification of solid carbon-bearing fuel and a reaction chamber 6 adjacent to said reaction apparatus, said reaction chamber having a device for feeding solid sorbent and cold gas or vaporised liquid, which is in form of at least one hole which is open outside the gasification reaction apparatus in the direction of the gas stream and has devices which enable to move the sorbent in a mixture with a coolant under pressure and feed into the product gas stream. The hole is in form of a nozzle.
EFFECT: invention provides fast and efficient gas cleaning.
