FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: mud flow suppressor comprises piles. Piles are arranged across a riverbed in staggered order within the entire section of a mud flow channel. Piles are arranged with density sufficient for provision of relative equivalent roughness of at least 0.1. At the same time elevations of pile tops in the upper part of the protected riverbed section correspond to height of mud flow waves. Elevations of piles in the middle and low parts of the river bed correspond to elevations of maximum flood flows.
EFFECT: efficient suppression of mud flows.
