FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of protection against mud streams on river blocked by mud-stone landslide contains creation above it of the dike with water passage, accumulating in the created water basin spring-summer floods, as well as waterprrofing of the landslide surface and installation in the landslide of the culvert with opened, going outside and downward elbows. Downstream the landslide a dam is constructed, together with dike is creates two basins at both sides of the landslide. Water drainage through the dike is performed at negative air temperatures and by cycles, at that filling basin between the landslide and dike, then pause is provided during which water overflow through the culvert to the second basin and its complete freezing in it are performed.
EFFECT: reduced labour intensity during construction of the mud protection, and rational use of spring flood water for entire summer to ensure irrigation of the plough lands.
