FIELD: instrument making.

SUBSTANCE: multiphase flow meter serves to define, at least, one characteristics of first phase in tube. Note here that, at least, second phase flows in said tube. Multiphase flow meter comprises the processor to define, at least, one characteristic of said first phase, first transducer to output first pulse signal to first phase at the first incidence angle to straight line perpendicular to tube inner wall. Note also that first pulse signal passes in ultrasound band. Note also that said first transducer can be connected to tube outer wall. Note also that absolute values of said first angle of incidence in said first phase is set to make, at least, 10 degrees and, mainly, 80 degrees. Second transducer serves to output second pulse signal to first phase at the angle smaller than 10 degrees to ensure, in fact, normal value. Note here that generated first pulse signal and first return echo-signal received by first transducer are used for definition of first travel time. Note also that said definition of first travel time proceeds from flow rate profile and/or first Doppler profile of the first phase echo-power. Note here that generated second pulse signal and first return echo-signal received by second transducer are used for definition of second travel time. Note also that said definition of second travel time proceeds from second Doppler profile of the return echo-signals from multiple levels of the first phase depth.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of determination of multiphase flow characteristic.
