SUBSTANCE: proposed method relates to the technology of creation of green urban forest protection zones. The method of protection of atmospheric air of cities having mountain-fosse location, from pollution with exhaust gases of internal combustion engines of vehicles, is that in places of accumulation of contamination by toxic and hazardous substances, namely within the lower points of fosses, the technology parks are created, and near open car parks and above the closed underground parking garages technological squares are created. The squares and parks are located on leeward of car parks along the main direction of the wind on the wind rose. For planting of the technology parks and squares, poplar and lilac and/or acacia are used.

EFFECT: proposed method provides a system of purification of atmospheric air from pollution with toxic and hazardous substances from exhaust gases of internal combustion engines of vehicles in warm seasons.
